Professor

Teachers often ask school administrators for permission to take their students on field trips (for example, to museums or historical buildings). Some school administrators provide funding and encouragement for teachers to organize educational trips for the entire class. Many believe that going on field trips is an important part of a child's education; others think that a child's time is better spent learning in a classroom at school. Which view do you agree with? Why?

Student A

Field trips can affect kids' futures in important ways. One time I went on a field trip to a space museum when I was young. I even got to try on a space suit. That experience made me want to be an astronomer. I might not have developed my interest in astronomy without that field trip experience.

From my perspective, I believe Paul's statement that it is beneficial for schools to organize field trips. While it is true that staying in classrooms can let students obtain more knowledge and practice abundant exercises, it is imperative for students to learn some skills or knowledge beyond textbooks. Textbooks only provide students with theoretical abilities like dealing with difficult formulations or remembering known facts, which enables students to get brilliant acedemic performance in exams. But for students who want to explore their interests or talents, superficial knowledge is not enough. Hence, introducing some academic field trips can effectively facilitate them to get exposure to different culture and stay in touch with some events that not be familiar with.

Section Title: The Impact of Field Trips on Education

In my opinion, organizing field trips for students is highly beneficial, as it provides opportunities for learning beyond the confines of a classroom. While traditional classroom education equips students with theoretical knowledge and problem-solving skills, it may not fully cater to their diverse interests and talents. Field trips offer a more immersive and hands-on learning experience, exposing students to different cultures and unfamiliar events. This exposure can inspire curiosity and passion in various fields, potentially shaping their future aspirations. Therefore, incorporating educational field trips into the curriculum can significantly enhance the overall learning experience for students by fostering personal growth and intellectual development. From my perspective, I believe Claire's statement that it is beneficial for students to write daily journal wrting activities. While it is true that writing daily things needs to consume students' free time, but the benefit of it outweight its drawbacks. The journal can serve as a platform for people to write down their thoughts and problems in their courses. Teachers espicially heavy burden teachers always occupied with a lot of stuff ranging from writing feedbacks for students to giving speeches in front of them. Thus, it is very difficult for teachers to answer their questions on time. By writing down students' feelings and thoughts, teachers can effectively help students to deal with problems after they finish their daily assignments, which is reciprocity for both students and teachers. Under this approach, teachers can seriously concentrate on their work without the disturbance of other secondary matters, which definitely facilitate the efficiency of their work.

Section Title: 6 Article Revision

In my opinion, journal writing activities indeed offer significant benefits for students, as Claire suggests. Although daily journaling may consume some of their free time, the advantages far outweigh the drawbacks. Journals provide a platform for students to articulate their thoughts and concerns regarding their courses. Teachers, particularly those with heavy workloads, are often preoccupied with numerous tasks such as providing feedback and delivering lectures. Consequently, promptly addressing students' questions can be challenging. By encouraging students to record their feelings and thoughts in journals, teachers can effectively assist them in resolving issues after completing their daily tasks. This approach fosters a mutually beneficial environment for both students and teachers. Moreover, it allows educators to focus on their primary responsibilities without being sidetracked by secondary matters, ultimately enhancing the efficiency of their work. (137 words)
