Original: In the passage, the school plans to require all the students in the writing room to keep complete silent. Besides, it will equip the room with computers which are not connected to the Internet to reduce distraction. In the conversation, the mentor agrees with his policy. First of all, he thinks that it's hard for students to focus in libraries because many students talk with others and it's inevitable. This is a strict rule students could focus on their study. Besides, he thinks that many students would like it because they would not be distracted by the Internet. For example, last time he was doing paperwork and he found that he had to change direction. It's a waste of time to go somewhere else and search for other things.

Corrected: In the passage, the school plans to require all the students in the writing room to maintain complete absolute silence(完全改为绝对,更自然). Besides, it will equip the room with computers which are not connected to the Internet to reduce distractions(将distraction改为复数形式,更符合语境). In the conversation, the man agrees with this policy(将mentor改为man,更符合原文). First of all, he thinks that it's hard for students to focus in libraries because many students talk with others and it's inevitable. This strict rule ensures students can focus on their studies(将could改为can,并添加ensures,使句子更自然). Moreover(将Besides改为Moreover,增加词汇多样性), he thinks that many students would like it because they would not be distracted by the Internet. For example, last time he was working on a paper(将doing paperwork改为working on a paper,更自然) and he found that he had to change direction. It's a waste of time to go somewhere else and search for other information(将other things改为other information,更准确).

Revised (140 words): In the passage, the school plans to require all students in the writing room to maintain absolute silence. Additionally, it will equip the room with computers not connected to the Internet to reduce distractions. In the conversation, the man agrees with this policy. Firstly, he believes it's difficult for students to concentrate in libraries because many students engage in conversations, making noise inevitable. This strict rule ensures students can focus on their studies. Moreover, he thinks many students would appreciate this environment as they wouldn't be distracted by the Internet. For instance, while working on a paper last time, he realized he needed to change direction and found it time-consuming to go elsewhere and search for other information. The silent room would provide an ideal space for undisturbed work and increased productivity.

Corrected Answer: The university announced that in the future, the first classes would start an hour later. The extra hour could provide students with better rest and help them be prepared to learn. Professors would also have more time to prepare for their classes. In the conversation, the man disagrees with this plan for two reasons: firstly, he believes that students' sleep habits would not change since they often stay up late. If they know they have more time, they might spend it on assignments or hanging out with friends. Secondly, he thinks that it would take professors longer to drive to school due to increased traffic during that time. (将时态改为过去式,使用更自然的表达方式,修正语法错误和句子结构问题。)

Revised 140-word Answer:

The university announced that in the future, first classes would begin an hour later at 9 A.M., aiming to provide students with better rest and help them be prepared for learning. Professors would also benefit from additional preparation time before classes. However, in the conversation, the man disagrees with this plan for two main reasons. Firstly, he believes that students' sleep habits would not change significantly since they often stay up late. If they know they have more time, they might spend it on assignments or socializing with friends. Secondly, he thinks that professors would face longer commute times due to increased traffic during that later hour. As a result, the man does not believe the proposed change would have the desired positive effects on both students and professors.
