Dr.Achebe

In the next few weeks, we'll be talking about urban traffic management. Let's begin by discussing one popular idea-creating car-free central zones. Some cities around the world have recently designated their downtown areas as being automobile-free, which means that vehicles are not allowed to enter the city centers. Do you think that more cities should make their central zones car-free? Why or why not?

Claire

I support the idea of establishing car-free central zones because this will result in one important benefit for city residents-it will be better for their health. Instead of driving everywhere, people will be encouraged to walk or cycle more. It would be a great way to incorporate exercise into people's routines.

Paul

It sounds like a good idea, but I'm skeptical. My main concern is that many businesses located in the city centers, such as shops and restaurants, may suffer because the customers will no longer be able to reach those businesses by car. For some customers, if they can't drive, they won't go at all.

Paul's point is right when there is no more transportation available for the citizens. After all, the economical development of a city also plays pivotal role. However, I second with Claire's viewpoint on the one for the following reasons. I hold the view that central zones car-free will contribute a lot to the environment of the central city. This is because that actually the automobile vehicles usually release countless amounts of greenhouse gases and pollutants, like methane, carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxide. In this way, it will increase the ratio of suffering asthma and even cancer, which greatly damage people's health. With the creation of automobile-free zones, the air quality will dramatically develop, Besides, the zones also provide a suitable area for people to entertain, For example, people can have a picnic with their friends. And they can have a walk, breathing the pure clean air. Therefore, I think Paul's viewpoint is tenure, actually there is no need to worry about it, because people can replace the automobile car by riding bicycles.

Title: 6 文章修订

While Paul raises a valid concern regarding the potential impact on transportation availability, I concur with Claire's perspective on implementing car-free central zones for several reasons. Primarily, I believe that establishing such zones will significantly benefit the urban environment. This is due to the fact that motor vehicles are notorious for emitting substantial quantities of greenhouse gases and pollutants, including methane, carbon dioxide, and nitrogen oxide. Consequently, this exacerbates health issues such as asthma and even cancer among city dwellers.

By creating automobile-free zones, air quality would dramatically improve. Moreover, these areas would offer an inviting space for residents to engage in leisure activities. For instance, individuals could enjoy picnics with friends or take leisurely strolls while breathing in cleaner air. Although Paul's concerns warrant consideration, alternative modes of transportation like bicycles can effectively address these issues while still promoting a healthier and more sustainable urban environment. In my opinion, establishing a minimum age for children to have mobile phones is both necessary and justifiable. We live in a fast-paced world inundated with various types of information, much of which can have detrimental effects on young minds. Examples include exposure to violence, dishonesty, and even explicit content.

Furthermore, children often lack the maturity and judgment needed to navigate the digital landscape safely, making them particularly vulnerable to harmful influences. By setting an age limit for mobile phone usage, we can provide a healthier environment for their growth and development.

However, it is essential to strike a balance between protecting children from potential harm and ensuring they maintain connections with their parents and friends. While restricting access to mobile phones may contribute to a more secure upbringing, careful consideration must be given to avoid isolating children from essential communication channels. In my opinion, I concur with Claire's perspective that a company should prioritize staffing its business with the most experienced employees available. Experienced employees offer numerous advantages, such as requiring less time-consuming training and having the ability to quickly bring the business up to speed. Furthermore, working with seasoned professionals can help a company avoid unnecessary costs.

To elaborate, inexperienced employees may inadvertently make costly mistakes due to their lack of expertise in handling certain matters. Companies must bear the financial burden of these errors. By minimizing such expenses, businesses can allocate resources towards expanding their operations and boosting profits.

While some may argue that younger employees possess greater enthusiasm and energy, these qualities alone are insufficient for addressing the challenges of a new business venture. In conclusion, I firmly believe that experienced employees are better equipped to contribute positively to a company's success compared to their less-experienced counterparts. (152 words)

In my opinion, new businesses should prioritize hiring experienced industry veterans, as their expertise and professionalism can significantly contribute to the company's success. Their extensive experience not only aids in daily operations but also provides invaluable insights for overcoming challenges faced by new enterprises.

Firstly, the inherent disadvantages of new businesses can be mitigated by the presence of seasoned veterans. As these individuals have dealt with various issues throughout their careers, they possess the knowledge and skills necessary to help CEOs develop systematic approaches to avoid bankruptcy. Ensuring the survival of a new company is crucial; therefore, prioritizing this over any innovative ideas brought forth by younger employees is essential.

Secondly, industry veterans have encountered numerous difficulties and obstacles in their professional lives, making them adept at problem-solving and less susceptible to deception in business dealings. In contrast, younger employees fresh out of university may lack real-world experience, rendering them more vulnerable and prone to errors. Consequently, companies may incur additional expenses rectifying these mistakes.

Ultimately, employing experienced veterans fosters a healthy and sustainable foundation for new businesses, paving the way for optimal results in the long run. Their wealth of knowledge and expertise is invaluable in navigating the complexities of establishing a successful enterprise while minimizing potential risks and pitfalls. (214 words)

While Kelly's perspective on the fact that schools shouldn't change their main courses is correct to some extent, in my opinion, I tend to concur with Paul's perspective that we should implement new kinds of courses for numerous reasons. Building upon his perspective, I would like to emphasize the benefits that students would receive when we implemented new courses to our schools. For instance, consider a friend of mine called Bob that was in a school where it tought students new and creative courses. He stated that these new courses benefited his future career by a long mile, and because of this kind of teaching style, he could find a job more easily due to his different skills that he acquired during his school years. This showed the positive impact that the students would receive when we implement new courses. Kelly's perspective, on the other hand, ignored this crucial aspect. If we imposed her approach, then it would have a detrimental consequence for the students. Consequently, I wholeheartedly concur with Paul's assertion that we should implement new courses to our schools.

While Claire's perspective is logical to some extent, I still wholeheartedly concur with Andrew's assertion that companies have to choose a good location in order to let them be more attractive to potential employees. Building upon his perspective, I would like to emphasize the other crucial benefits that the companies could receive by adopting this plan. For instance, there was a company in my neighborhood that picked a great location. Not only this company thought of other locations that the potential employees would be, but also it considered the value of this land. That piece land back then was significantly cheaper than the other pieces of land. Thus, this company saved a significant amount of money, and the company paid the employees more than they expected. Eventually, 10 years later, this company is still filled of people who are on the waiting list for the jobs. This showed the benefits that the companies would receive when adopting this approach. Claire's perspective, on the other hand, ignored this crucial aspect. Adopting her approach might lead to detrimental consequences for the economy. Therefore, I wholeheartedly agree with Andrew's perspective that if companies want more employees, then they must choose a good location.

Section Title: 6 文章修订

While Claire's viewpoint holds some merit, I firmly agree with Andrew's argument that selecting an optimal location is essential for companies to attract potential employees. Expanding on his perspective, I would like to highlight additional significant benefits that organizations can reap by adopting this strategy. For example, a company in my neighborhood strategically chose an excellent location. This decision not only factored in the preferences of prospective employees but also took into account the land's value. At the time, this particular plot was considerably more affordable than other options, resulting in substantial savings for the company. Consequently, they were able to offer higher-than-expected salaries to their employees. A decade later, this organization continues to thrive with a long waiting list of job seekers eager to join its ranks. This success story demonstrates the advantages companies can gain by prioritizing location in their decision-making process. In contrast, Claire's perspective overlooks this crucial aspect and could potentially lead to adverse economic outcomes if implemented. Therefore, I wholeheartedly endorse Andrew's assertion that securing an ideal location is paramount for companies seeking to attract and retain a talented workforce. (189 words)
