I would have to disagree. A teenager is still just a kid, and in my opinion, a kid needs to focus on going to school and learning. A job would be an unnecessary distraction. If it's all about learning responsibility, I think there are a lot of other ways to do that without the commitment required by a job.
Claire
Teenagers should work part-time. When I was 16, I washed dishes at a restaurant, and I'm glad I did. I learned a lot about time management. I had to use my free time wisely to make sure I could complete homework despite spending time working at a job. This is a valuable life skill.

The topic of should economic success sacrifice environmental well-being has generated much discussion in recent days. My personal belief is coherent with Kelly's point of view that large economic institutes are not willing to be controlled under environmental agencies, and uncontrol environmental damage will essentially threaten human beings. Furthermore, people who live in rural areas can be major victims of company development at the expense of the environment. Suburban residents rely highly on nature while fewer take advantage form the great economic success since they live far away from cities. Hence, without protecting nature while growing economics will not benefit them in any aspect but bring huge traumas. I understand Pual's concern over the reduction of unemployment as those industries develop. However, as the environment is damaged there won’t be any suitable capital for production, thus many medium and small companies have to shut down. Additionally, disease can spread as the pollution keeps damaging nature which leads to workers' sickness. As a result, platforms for providing jobs and workforces are both threatened.

The essay addresses the topic of economic success versus environmental well-being and provides a clear viewpoint in agreement with Kelly's perspective. However, the essay could benefit from more specific examples or details to support the argument. Additionally, the language use and grammar could be improved for better clarity.

-
Revise grammar and sentence structure for clarity.

- "While Paul argues that job creation is essential, it is important to consider alternative industries that can provide employment without causing environmental harm."
4. Essay structure and organization
The essay has a clear structure with an introduction, body, and conclusion. However, it could benefit from clearer transitions between ideas and paragraphs to improve overall organization.
Suggestions for improvement:
-
Use transition words or phrases to connect ideas within paragraphs.
-
Ensure each paragraph focuses on a single point with supporting details.
Examples:
- "Firstly, large economic institutes are often unwilling to be controlled by environmental agencies, which can lead to uncontrolled environmental damage."

The debate surrounding whether economic success should come at the expense of environmental well-being has garnered significant attention in recent times. I find myself aligning with Kelly's perspective, which emphasizes that large economic institutions may be reluctant to submit to environmental regulations, and uncontrolled environmental damage ultimately poses a threat to humanity. Moreover, rural populations are often disproportionately affected by industrial development that disregards environmental concerns. These individuals heavily rely on natural resources and are less likely to benefit from economic growth since they reside far from urban centers. Consequently, prioritizing economic expansion without considering environmental protection fails to serve their interests and may inflict considerable harm.
While I acknowledge Paul's concern regarding the potential reduction in unemployment as industries develop, it is crucial to recognize that as the environment deteriorates, suitable resources for production will become scarce, forcing many small and medium-sized enterprises to close. Furthermore, pollution-induced diseases can proliferate as the environment continues to suffer, leading to increased worker illness. Ultimately, both job opportunities and the workforce itself are jeopardized when economic success is pursued at the expense of our planet's well-being. (189 words)
