Upper IntermediateCome funziona la conversione del punteggio TOEFL?
Il TOEFL iBT 2026 utilizza una scala a band da 1 a 6 con incrementi di 0,5. Per convertire un vecchio punteggio TOEFL (0–120), dividi per 20 e arrotonda al 0,5 più vicino. Ad esempio, un punteggio di 100 corrisponde a Band 5.0, equivalente a IELTS 7.0–7.5 e al livello CEFR C1.

Come Funzionano i Punteggi TOEFL nel 2026
Il TOEFL potenziato introdotto nel 2026 utilizza una scala a band da 1 a 6 al posto del tradizionale sistema di punteggio da 0 a 120. Questo nuovo sistema avvicina il TOEFL ai framework internazionali per le lingue, come il CEFR.
Punteggi per Sezione
Ogni sezione — Reading, Listening, Writing e Speaking — riceve un band score da 1,0 a 6,0 con incrementi di 0,5.
Punteggio Complessivo
Il punteggio totale TOEFL è la media dei quattro punteggi di sezione, arrotondata al band più vicino di 0,5.
Formula di Conversione
Esempio: Un vecchio punteggio di 87 → 87 ÷ 20 = 4,35 → arrotondato a Band 4.5 (IELTS 6.5, CEFR B2+)
