TOEFL iBT 2026 menggunakan skala band 1–6 dengan kenaikan 0,5. Untuk mengonversi skor TOEFL lama (0–120), bagi dengan 20 dan bulatkan ke kelipatan 0,5 terdekat. Misalnya, skor 100 dikonversi menjadi Band 5,0, setara dengan IELTS 7,0–7,5 dan CEFR C1.

Cara Kerja Penilaian TOEFL di Tahun 2026
TOEFL yang diperbarui pada 2026 menggunakan skala band 1–6 menggantikan sistem penilaian tradisional 0–120. Sistem baru ini menyelaraskan TOEFL dengan kerangka bahasa internasional seperti CEFR.
Skor Per Bagian
Setiap bagian — Reading, Listening, Writing, dan Speaking — mendapatkan band skor dari 1,0 hingga 6,0 dengan kenaikan 0,5.
Skor Keseluruhan
Skor TOEFL keseluruhan adalah rata-rata dari keempat band skor bagian, dibulatkan ke kelipatan 0,5 terdekat.
Rumus Konversi
Contoh: Skor lama 87 → 87 ÷ 20 = 4,35 → dibulatkan menjadi Band 4,5 (IELTS 6,5, CEFR B2+)
