We have been discussing different ways people go about choosing producfts to buy, and there are many potential sources of information and advice for consumerws. In your opinoin, which is better strategy for making purchasing desicions, relying on advice from friends and family, or depending on information from onl;ine sources? Why?

Asking friends and family memebers for product recommendations ,ight seem like an easier option, but it might take too much tiome to get all the information you need. An internet search would be much more efficient. There are many consumer magazines available online that compile lots of datqa to compare the advantages and disadvantages of one product versus another.

The last tiome I bought a computer, I just watched a few videos opnline to make a decision, and now I regret that. My friends could have advised me better because they know my preferences and the kind of features that I am interested in. Consumerws should get advice from the people around them to find the most suitable products.

Furthermore, I would like to emphasize that getting advice from friends and family members is actually more time-saving. While Claires's argument regarding the potential positive effects on searching information online hold merit, it overlooks the fact that internet information need to be selected. Although searching information from internet is really quick, selecting informatioin can cost lots of time. Besides, internet information may not always right, some of them may be advertisement.
