Dr. Lopez
For the past few decades, people have shown a great interest towards unhealthy cousins and soft drinks. It is said that local shops are highly responsible for this trend and thus, Some individuals think that these outlets should not be permitted to freely sell such scientifically proven detrimental things, whereas others are against. What is your opinion?
Andy
I believe unhealthy food and beverages should not be sold. The reason is that people are suffering from lots of diseases by eating them. For example, the rate of people developing heart disease, obesity and diabetes has been increasing alarmingly. Many researchers point out that causes of death of human beings are junks items. Besides, many shops try to sell cheap unhealthy food just to make profits. Thus, the government should impose strict rules on selling unhealthy products.
Jane
In today's fast-paced life where both the parents are working, these foods come as a handy option. Although they are not good for health, a small amount doesn't affect the body much. What's more, some big brands like Mc Donald's and Pizza Hut have many outlets across the globe, which helps the government in dealing with unemployment by creating jobs and contribute to the country's economy and GDP. Thus, stopping them to sell products can affect the economy.

Esempio Utente
I totally agree with Jane. These foods should not be banned because they are not only easy to get and eat but also because many people consider eating them recreationally. We must notice that there are lots of people who don't have many relaxing ways, and eating this kind of food somehow becomes a pleasing activity for them. Nobody can rob them of the right to obtain such little happiness. Indeed, some of these foods are unhealthy, but the effect is chronic and subtle compared with nicotine and other addictive things. More importantly, eating this kind of food won't bother anyone else. Did someone get harmed when a person eats these foods beside him? The answer must be 'no'. On the other hand, we must commit that almost none of us can avoid these foods thoroughly in our daily life. There's always one day when we'll need them, so it is not all worth banning them totally.

6.文章修订
I concur with Jane's perspective that unhealthy food and beverages should not be banned. These products serve as convenient options in our fast-paced lives and provide recreational enjoyment for many individuals. It is crucial to acknowledge that consuming such foods occasionally may not significantly impact one's health, especially when compared to more harmful substances like nicotine.
Moreover, the economic benefits of the fast-food industry cannot be ignored. Global brands like McDonald's and Pizza Hut create numerous job opportunities and contribute to a country's GDP. Banning these products could have adverse effects on the economy.
It is essential to strike a balance between protecting public health and promoting economic development. Instead of banning these products outright, governments could implement policies that encourage healthier choices while still allowing for occasional indulgence in less healthy options. This approach would respect individual freedom while promoting overall well-being.
In summary, I believe that completely banning unhealthy food and beverages is not the most effective solution. Rather, a more nuanced approach involving education, regulation, and personal responsibility would better serve both public health and economic interests. (181 words)

Section Title: 6 Article Revision
In my opinion, children should undoubtedly be allowed to make their own decisions regarding their future. Firstly, as Dalio emphasized in the discussion, fostering independence in children is crucial for their personal growth. By making their own choices, children can develop confidence and self-esteem, which are essential qualities for overcoming obstacles and challenges in their future careers. Secondly, children are more likely to make better decisions as they have a deeper understanding of their potential abilities and skills. In contrast, parents may not be fully aware of all their children's talents, which implies that children can make more suitable decisions without parental interference.
Furthermore, allowing children to make their own choices can help maintain healthy family relationships. If a child makes a wrong decision independently, they are less likely to blame their parents for it. While some may argue that parents can make better decisions for their children due to their experience and love, as Phil mentioned in the discussion, this perspective overlooks the fact that parents may not know what is best for their child since they have limited insight into the child's true interests and capabilities. Paul presents a persuasive argument against the idea that university fees should be entirely covered by the government. While acknowledging the increasing cost of tuition, he highlights the substantial funding already allocated to education, such as building libraries and research centers. In addition to these investments, financial aid programs like scholarships and fellowships support students from low-income families. I concur with Paul and would like to emphasize that universities should prioritize enhancing students' skills and knowledge. Therefore, funds should be directed towards improving teaching infrastructure rather than covering tuition fees for all students. Esempio Utente
While I appreciate the argument presented by Sam, I think that taxing unhealthy food is unnecessary. I strongly support Tanya's viewpoint that poor families can hardly afford the high taxes, which is unfair. I'd add that most individuals will not change their behaviors even if they are asked to pay taxes for unhealthy products, due to the convenience they bring to life. It is widely acknowledged that people in contemporary society lead a fast-paced life with tremendous pressure to work and study. Not only does it take extended periods for individuals to cook their meals, but the well-prepared healthy meals on the market are also expensive, which are beyond most people's financial means. For instance, In many major cities, a fresh salad usually costs around eight dollars, far more than the price of a burger. Consequently, it is inevitable for individuals, especially youngsters, to turn to unhealthy meals to save more time and money. Therefore, I firmly believe that governments should allocate more funds and time to encouraging citizens to exercise regularly. This is because fostering exercise habits, rather than being forbidden to purchase various products, is more likely to guarantee individuals healthier lifestyles.

While I acknowledge Sam's argument, I firmly oppose the taxation of unhealthy food products. I concur with Tanya's viewpoint that such taxes disproportionately burden low-income families, which is unjust. Additionally, it is unlikely that imposing taxes on unhealthy products will significantly alter consumer behavior due to the convenience these items provide.
In today's fast-paced society, individuals face immense pressure from work and education, leaving little time for meal preparation. Furthermore, nutritious meals available in the market are often costly and beyond the financial means of many people. For instance, in major cities, a fresh salad can cost up to eight dollars, while a fast-food burger may only cost two or three dollars, making the healthier option significantly less affordable for numerous individuals. Consequently, people, particularly young adults, gravitate towards unhealthy meals as a means to save time and money.
Rather than taxing unhealthy food products, I advocate for governments to invest in public sports facilities, sponsor community exercise programs, and promote physical education in schools to encourage citizens to engage in regular physical activity. Cultivating exercise habits is more likely to ensure healthier lifestyles than restricting access to certain products through taxation. (193 words)
