In recent years, many children would rather stay at home playing video games than go out for activities during their leisure time. Some parents are concerned that too much exposure to electronic products may be detrimental to children's growth. In response to this phenomenon, should children be forced to participate in various outdoor activities (such as sports, gymnastics, clubs, etc.), even if they would rather sit at home and play video games all day?
Claire:
I think it is a wise move for parents to force their children to get involved in extracurricular activities. Compared with being sedentary all day long, more outdoor time is linked with improved motor development and lower obesity rates and myopia risk. What’s more, safely getting some sun also helps children make vitamin D that their bodies need to stay healthy and strong
Ben:
I don't think children should be forced to do so. Some children can enjoy themselves when they are involved in a soccer team or a club, but others may not. For example, if a child has not yet adapted to the community or peer clubs, he or she will think that participating in activities with unfamiliar people is very challenging and stressful. Therefore, it is best for them to stay at home and play games to spend their rest days in a relaxing way.

While I can see Ben's points that enforcing children who don't like outdoor activities may make them feel under stress, I agree with Claire's perspective that children should be forces to participate in various outdoor activities. As Claire mentioned, outdoor activities often involves children's running and jumping, as well as being exposed to sunlight, which help children gain a stronger bodies such as strengthen their muscles and gaining fundamental energy and nutrient, leading to a better immune system so that they can have a stronger resistance against virus and diseases. However, seating in front of a computer for a long time may cause serious health issue like becoming short-sighted. Apart from what Claire has raised, I would add that playing out doors can help children improve their social skills. Though children may feel stressful at first when meeting a stranger, it's necessary for them to learn skills such as how to communicate with others and how to deal with a relationship correctly since communicating is a life long challenge that they must face. These kinds of skills are primary learnt from experience, so it's beneficial for children to develop and improve social skills when playing outdoors at a young age.

Section Title: 6 文章修订
Revised Essay: While I understand Ben's concern that forcing children who dislike outdoor activities may cause them stress, I concur with Claire's viewpoint that children should be encouraged to participate in various outdoor pursuits. As Claire mentioned, these activities often involve running, jumping, and exposure to sunlight, which contribute to building stronger bodies by strengthening muscles and providing essential energy and nutrients. This leads to an improved immune system, enabling children to better resist viruses and diseases. Conversely, sitting in front of a computer for extended periods may result in serious health issues such as myopia.
In addition to Claire's points, I would argue that engaging in outdoor activities can enhance children's social skills. Although they may initially feel stressed when encountering strangers, it is crucial for them to learn essential life skills such as effective communication and relationship management. These abilities are primarily acquired through experience; thus, it is advantageous for children to develop and refine their social skills through outdoor play at a young age. (171 words)
