Others disagree with this view, arguing that space exploration is a valuable and necessary investment for our future. They think that it is worthy for governments to fund space exploration. I don't think that governments should fund space exploration, because it will be too costly to build spaceships and develop related technologies. Though space exploration tech costs billions, it doesn't offer direct benefits to most people, which makes its funding a controversial issue.

They can be used in industries, and, in fact many modern products and gadgets that many people use are inspired by space exploration. For example carbon fibreglass is now used as roofing material. Besides that, space exploration can be very educational and inspirational to public, especially to the next generation. Lots of national space program make effort to educate and inspire students so that they could pursue careers in the field of science. For instance, NASA has teaching program that require astronauts to tech a science class in local schools so that students might pursue "STEM" career areas like science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
