Professor

Teachers often ask school administrators for permission to take their students on field trips (for example, to museums or historical buildings). Some school administrators provide funding and encouragement for teachers to organize educational trips for the entire class. Many believe that going on field trips is an important part of a child's education; others think that a child's time is better spent learning in a classroom at school. Which view do you agree with? Why?

Kelly

Field trips are so demanding of a teacher's time; I can understand why some people aren't in favor of them. Teachers can't just decide that it might be fun to take their class to an art museum. They must plan carefully to help children get the most out of that trip while not losing too much instructional time.

Paul

Field trips can affect kids' futures in important ways. One time I went on a field trip to a space museum when I was young. I even got to try on a space suit. That experience made me want to be an astronomer. I might not have developed my interest in astronomy without that field trip experience.

I find myself in agreement with Paul’s idea that school organizing the filed trips has profound influences on kids’ future in some ways. For example, when he was a kid, he participate in a field trip to the space museum where he got the chance to wear the space suit and then was inspired to be an astronaut. I would add that the field trips organized by schools also contribute to children academic improvements. For example, students can form more in-depth understanding of historical events described in history books when they pay a visit to local museum. Again, a student can learn the writing skills by visiting the local literature center. Kelly raises her relevant point that filed trips organizing shall exert extra pressures for teachers as they have to spend more time carefully scheduling the trip. However, she does not mention that parents also can become involved in organizing such trips, this shall not only release burdens that teachers face, also increases the family bonds by creating a platform where parents can have more interactions with their kids. In all, I do believe that it is much sensible to encourage schools to organize more field trips, and therefore, Paul’s suggestion is far better.

6.文章修订

I concur with Paul's perspective that field trips organized by schools can significantly impact children's futures, as they provide unique learning experiences and opportunities for personal growth. For instance, Paul's visit to a space museum during his childhood ignited his passion for astronomy, which might not have developed without that experience.

Furthermore, field trips contribute to children's academic improvement. Students can gain a deeper understanding of historical events by visiting local museums or enhance their writing skills through exposure to local literary centers. While Kelly raises a valid concern about the additional workload for teachers in planning such excursions, she overlooks the potential involvement of parents in organizing these trips. Parental participation not only alleviates the burden on teachers but also strengthens family bonds by fostering increased interaction between parents and their children.

In conclusion, I firmly believe that encouraging schools to organize more field trips is a sensible approach, as it offers numerous benefits for students' academic and personal development. Thus, Paul's suggestion holds greater merit than opposing views. (171 words)
