Our current unit looks at tourism and the benefit it has on a country’s economy. Many argue that while tourism can indeed be a money-making endeavor, it can do more harm than good, especially tourism to small, remote places that are not heavily populated. What is your opinion? Should local or national governments promote tourism to remote regions not typically visited by tourists before? Why?
Student A
Tourism has always been a lucrative business. Improving the economies of these rural regions, especially if those regions are poor, can only have a positive effect. People can have a better quality of life by showcasing their food and traditions to the outside world. It’s a chance the people might not get without promotion from the government.
Student B
I don’t think governments should promote tourism to remote regions. The people are likely not asking for this kind of industry or for this kind of attention. Instead, governments should develop other means of improving a region’s economic situation, like expanding agriculture or other industries. These efforts will have a stronger, more permanent impact on the region than bringing in groups of tourists.

While, With the development of industry, tourism was seen as a well money-making endeavor, I firmly believe that it is definitely negative for government to promote tourism in distant and remote region as it is wasteful and the resource can be used in a more significant measure. To be more specific, with the low equipment and primitive environment in rural region, government need to spend expensive investment to build a wide range of gears to attract people. For example, government need to spend earnings to hire worker to build the road, restaurant and facility which may cost a huge tax income, and this money can be used to build a lot of houses which can provide a secure place for poor people who can not pay it by their own. Conversely, the objector will say that tourism is a well-paid industry and can make more money to balance the cost of building it. However, there are a large quantity cases that can not efficiently attract people. And if the economy is falling down like recently, people will not have enough money to entertain and play, so investing the agriculture, suitable and native industry in the remote area, is a steady and safe impediment to promote the well-being.

In the context of economic development, tourism has often been regarded as a profitable endeavor. However, I strongly believe that promoting tourism in remote and sparsely populated regions is not an effective approach for governments to take, as resources could be allocated more efficiently elsewhere. Specifically, the lack of infrastructure and amenities in rural areas would require substantial investment from the government to create tourist attractions.
For instance, constructing roads, restaurants, and facilities to accommodate tourists would consume a significant portion of tax revenue. This expenditure could alternatively be directed towards building affordable housing for impoverished citizens who are unable to secure adequate shelter on their own.
Opponents may argue that tourism is a lucrative industry capable of generating sufficient income to offset the costs associated with its development. Nevertheless, numerous cases demonstrate that attracting tourists to remote locations can prove challenging. Furthermore, during periods of economic downturn – such as the present – people may not have disposable income for leisure activities. Consequently, investing in agriculture or other industries native to these remote areas would represent a more stable and secure strategy for promoting overall well-being and economic growth. While some people say that urban space needs to build more and more important buildings like medical care centers, I contend that it is essential for civilization to build more green space than others as it will benefit human health. To be more specific, the trees plant in the urban space can promote some great materials for people to survive, improving dweller's physical and mental health. For example, it is well-acknowledged that tree can absorb carbon dioxide and releases a great deal of oxygen, cleaning the air environment that human breathe, and it can also purify the water, refreshing the water quality that human drink. In addition, the green space is also can provide an area for people to enjoy such as hanging out with their friends, taking a family walk, and having a communal party, which is significant for people's health.

Urban spaces are often subject to debate regarding their optimal use, particularly when it comes to prioritizing between essential facilities and green spaces. While some argue that the limited urban space should be allocated for indispensable structures such as hospitals and clinics, I maintain that incorporating more green spaces in cities is crucial for the overall well-being of the population.
The benefits of green spaces in urban areas are multifaceted, encompassing both physical and mental health improvements. Trees and plants contribute significantly to air quality by absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen, while also purifying water sources. Consequently, a cleaner environment promotes healthier living conditions for city dwellers. Furthermore, green spaces offer opportunities for leisure activities such as socializing with friends, taking family walks, or hosting community events – all of which contribute positively to people's mental health.
While the argument for constructing more hospitals and clinics on available land may seem compelling at first glance, many cities already possess an abundance of such facilities. Instead of further saturating urban landscapes with commercial establishments like shopping malls and bars, it is imperative to prioritize the development of green spaces that foster a healthier lifestyle for residents. By striking a balance between essential infrastructure and natural environments within cities, we can create more sustainable and livable urban communities. (220 words)

In my opinion, the government's primary focus should be on developing more convenient and effective transportation in rural areas. While Claire and Kelly raise valid concerns regarding financial burdens and access to amenities, investing in sophisticated transportation networks in rural areas would better address the needs of those considering relocation. By improving infrastructure such as highways, trains, and buses, communication between metropolitan areas and remote regions will become more frequent and seamless. Consequently, this would significantly reduce transportation costs and time wasted on commuting.
With improved accessibility to fundamental resources like healthcare, shopping facilities, and educational institutions in urban centers, individuals residing in rural areas can enjoy a lower cost of living while still benefiting from opportunities available in the city. For example, shorter commuting times of no more than 30 minutes would enable people to maintain a rural lifestyle while working or studying in urban areas. As a result, an increasing number of individuals, particularly younger generations, may consider embracing the advantages of rural life without sacrificing the benefits provided by cities. In my opinion, school's assessing mechanism should incorporating student's final test scores and daily effort. So I very appreciate Pual's statement that multi-aspects assessing system will build students' charater and help them find a decent job. Besides, I add another advantage coming from such a assessing mechanism. By considering the untraditional part like students' endeavor, the innovative valuating mechanism will create a fair competion environment and then stimulate more students to study harder. To be more specific, some students, who are not good at papar test, can can try to engage in other aspects to varify their ability that meets graduation requirement. In my opinion, a school's assessment mechanism should incorporate both students' final test scores and their daily effort. I concur with Pual's statement that a multi-faceted assessment system will help build students' character and assist them in securing decent employment. Additionally, I would like to highlight another advantage of such an evaluation method. By considering non-traditional factors like students' endeavors, this innovative approach fosters a fair competitive environment and encourages more students to study diligently. Specifically, it allows those who may not excel in paper tests to demonstrate their abilities in other areas that meet graduation requirements.
For instance, in our archaeology department, numerous students invest significant effort into field research to compensate for their weaknesses in history tests. They routinely visit excavation sites and strive to accurately interpret the remains they uncover. In doing so, they become increasingly proficient with professional archaeological tools. Consequently, their professors tend to award higher scores to these hardworking individuals, enabling them to graduate successfully. This approach benefits both the students and the school by increasing graduation rates and enhancing the quality of graduates produced. (186 words)

Section Title: 6 Article Revision
While I understand the value of ongoing employee training, I agree with Andrew that it may not be the most crucial investment a company can make. Instead, companies should prioritize other aspects such as marketing campaigns and product development. Employees today face immense pressure, with demanding workloads and tight deadlines. Forcing them to undergo additional training amidst their already hectic schedules might not yield significant results.
Furthermore, businesses today confront fierce competition, declining profits, and shrinking market shares. To maintain their presence in the market, companies must refine their strategies, produce high-quality products, and invest in advertising – all of which require substantial financial resources. Consequently, while employee training is essential for skill development and retention, it may not be as critical as other factors that determine a company's future success. (136 words)

To be more specific, if one person has constant work in one region, they will definitely live a long time in this place. For example, Shenzhen, a city that fails in economic development in the past decades, is received tremendous monetary support from the central government and has built many local industries in agriculture for people to work. After this measure more and more people nearby other cities come to this location to find a suitable job and live there. On the other hand, a voice arises that entertainment and culture will be a good way to attract dwellers to live in a rural area by appreciating the good food, beautiful landscapes, and conventional exhibitions. However, this idea is definitely derived from the urban perspective and it is not adaptable for the rural.

Title: 6 文章修订
In addressing the challenge of attracting people to reside in rural areas, I contend that the most effective strategy for governments is to provide financial assistance for agricultural pursuits, as this would create more job opportunities and encourage long-term settlement. Specifically, when individuals have stable employment in a region, they are more likely to remain there due to considerations such as commuting distance and financial stability.
Take Shenzhen as an example: once struggling economically, the city received substantial financial support from the central government and subsequently established numerous local agricultural industries. This initiative attracted people from neighboring cities seeking suitable employment and ultimately led them to settle in Shenzhen.
Conversely, some argue that promoting entertainment and cultural attractions would entice urban dwellers to relocate to rural areas. They envision a countryside replete with fine dining, picturesque landscapes, and traditional exhibitions. However, I believe this perspective is inherently urban-centric and fails to consider the unique characteristics of rural living. If rural areas were to emulate urban centers by constructing large markets, upscale restaurants, and cultural shows, they would lose their distinct appeal. Moreover, city dwellers already have access to such amenities within their current environment; relocating would require considerable time and energy without offering any novel experiences.
In conclusion, providing financial support for agricultural endeavors in rural areas is a more effective strategy for attracting residents than attempting to replicate urban entertainment options. This approach not only generates employment opportunities but also preserves the unique charm of rural living. (251 words)
