Cancel Information Sessions At the beginning of each year, during new-student orientation, the university holds information sessions to provide students with general information about resources available at the university. I think that these sessions should be canceled. This is because a lot of the information presented during these sessions is not helpful at the beginning of the year. Students tend to forget what they have heard and so are not able to benefit from the information. Additionally, the sessions are unnecessary because all the information presented is available on the university website. The students can access the information when they need it. Sincerely, Paul Clark

Revised (140 words): The letter suggested that students in the university should cancel information sessions for two reasons. First, they are not useful at the beginning of the semester; however, the female student disagrees with this point. She believes that these sessions are beneficial, as they provide valuable information, such as the book fair, which allows students to purchase inexpensive books and save money. Second, the letter stated that resources were available on the school's website; nevertheless, the girl finds this argument unrealistic. She contends that most students do not utilize the website and would miss out on important details if they relied solely on it. In conclusion, the female student opposes canceling information sessions due to their usefulness and doubts regarding students' willingness to access information through the website.
