TOEFL 2026 Score Scale at a Glance

The TOEFL 2026 uses a 1.0–6.0 band scale. Your overall band is the simple average of four equally weighted section scores — Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing — each scored on the same 1.0–6.0 scale in 0.5 increments. This replaced the legacy 0–120 total score on January 21, 2026.
