Understanding the merit of Paul, I concur with Kelly and believe that we need to improve teacher’s salaries. Based on the opinion from Paul, he thought new equipment or facilities can help the education, but I think teachers play the most important role in teaching instead of the equipment. Higher salaries can attract teachers with better teaching ability. Many teachers who are good at teaching give up the job to be a teacher because of low salaries. For example, I had a teacher in middle school, and he left the school to be a manager in a company, because the salaries are too low to raise their kids. I think it is the lose of the school, because he is a very good teacher. However, the opinion overlooks that there are still some teachers who want to teach students without being paid too much.

Allocation of School Funds

While acknowledging the significance of updated resources, I concur with the notion that prioritizing an increase in teachers' salaries is essential. Although Paul argues that new equipment and facilities can enhance education, I believe that teachers hold the most crucial role in the learning process. Offering higher salaries can attract educators with superior teaching abilities. Numerous talented teachers abandon their profession due to low remuneration. For instance, a middle school teacher I knew left his position to become a company manager, as his salary was insufficient to support his family. This loss was detrimental to the school, as he was an exceptional educator. Nonetheless, it is important to recognize that some dedicated teachers continue to educate students despite inadequate compensation. (124 words)
