Dr. Diaz
This week we looked at how the cinema―the physical building where we watch films―has evolved over the years. Now, I want you to consider this question: with so many internet streaming services available for viewing films at home, do you think cinemas will cease to exist in the future? Will a time come when people stop going to cinemas entirely? Why or why not?
Paul
In my opinion, cinemas are here to stay. For thousands of years, people have been sharing the collective experience of watching a show, whether it was a live performance at a theater in ancient Greece or a recorded film in a cinema in today’s society. And they will continue to want that shared viewing experience.
Claire
I agree that cinemas are becoming obsolete, but I don’t think it’s because of technology. Many of the best films these days are being produced as ten- or twelve-part miniseries, with much more focus on character development. These productions are meant to be watched on television. You don’t need a big screen to enjoy them.

Due to the fact that technology can make people see films in their own houses, I think cinemas will cease to exist in the future. The development of technology allows people to buy cheap and good devices that can provide same experience as watching in the cinemas for people at houses. In the past, people have to spend money to buy tickets and cost lots of time to go to the cinemas to see the films, it will be more difficult for people who live in the countryside. Now, people can see excellent films in their own houses an anytime. It is so convient for people to see movies in their home that no one need to spend money to watch films in cinemas. While Paul has a point that cinemas can provide people for chance to share viewing experience, with the development of technology, people can easily share their instant ideas on the Internet. Therefore, they can have same experience at their own houses as in cinemas. In conclusion, that's why I think cinemas will cease exist in the future and people will stop going to cinemas entirely.

6.文章修订
In light of the technological advancements enabling people to watch films at home, I believe that cinemas will eventually become obsolete. Affordable and high-quality devices are now available, providing a similar experience to that of movie theaters within the comfort of one's home. Previously, individuals had to spend money on tickets and allocate time for traveling to cinemas, posing difficulties for those residing in rural areas. Presently, viewers can enjoy exceptional films at their convenience without leaving their homes.
While Paul argues that cinemas offer a shared viewing experience, advancements in technology allow people to instantly share their thoughts online, thus replicating this collective experience at home. Consequently, I predict that cinemas will cease to exist in the future as people opt for more convenient alternatives. (127 words)

From my point of view, I subscribe to Paul's idea that the cinemas will always be there. And apart from his reasons, another reason I would like to add is that we can have a better experience when immersing ourselves in the atmosphere of the cinemas. Compared with the screens at homes, the ones on the cinemas will be much bigger, making the images more attractive and also full of details. For instance, we can clearly recogonize the rough skins of the main characters and thus trust that he is indeed a farmer rather than a relatively delicate super star, which makes the movies more believable and impressive. Additionally, the sound level in the cinemas is also so high that we can fully get involved to the process of viewing and our heart will beat fast and slow with the dimantic sound surrounding us. In a nutshell, due to the special experiences provided by the cinemas that can not be replaced by other watching forms, cinemas era will definitely never, ever come to the end.

Section Title: 6 Article Revision
In my perspective, I concur with Paul's assertion that cinemas will continue to endure. Beyond the reasons he provided, I would like to emphasize the enhanced experience offered by the immersive atmosphere of cinemas. In contrast to home screens, cinema screens are significantly larger, rendering images more captivating and rich in detail. For example, we can distinctly discern the coarse skin of a protagonist, reinforcing their portrayal as a farmer rather than a polished superstar, thereby making the film more believable and impactful. Furthermore, the elevated sound levels in cinemas facilitate complete engagement in the viewing process, with our heartbeats synchronizing with the dynamic audio that envelops us. Ultimately, due to the unique experiences afforded by cinemas that cannot be replicated through alternative viewing methods, I firmly believe that the era of cinemas will never reach its conclusion. I concur with Paul's perspective that cinema will remain existing in the future. As Paul presents, theater, the sharing space, meets the collective demands of contemporary people, and contributes to people alleviating from tremendous daily jobs. Thus, to eliminate theater and cinema is to disagree with individual's appropriate demands, indicating continuous existing of cinema. Far from Paul's opinion, I also emphasize that existing doesn't mean no variety. With the development of social economy and technology, cinema in the future will evolve towards people's improved demands, such as renovating higher-tech equipments and introduce 5-dimension movies so and forth. Besides, future cinema may also arrange its watching space more comfortable and more novel, attracting and keeping frequent customers.

I concur with Paul's perspective that cinemas will continue to exist in the future. As Paul highlights, shared spaces like theaters cater to the collective desires of modern society, providing an escape from the stresses of daily life. Therefore, to eliminate theaters and cinemas would be to disregard individuals' inherent needs, signifying the enduring presence of cinema.
Apart from Paul's opinion, I also emphasize that existence does not imply stagnation. As social and technological advancements progress, future cinemas will adapt to meet evolving demands, such as incorporating cutting-edge technology and introducing immersive experiences like 5-dimensional films. Furthermore, future cinemas may redesign their viewing spaces for enhanced comfort and novelty, attracting and retaining a loyal customer base. (119 words)
