University Announces Energy-Saving Plan Out of concern for the environment, the university has announced an effort to reduce energy consumption. The energy saving measures will start at the library. One measure involves the library’s inside lighting: new overhead lights that use less power will be installed throughout the building. Another measure has to do with the temperature level in the library. The air-conditioning will be reduced on hot days, meaning that study areas will be kept somewhat warmer when it is hot outside.

Revised Answer (140 words):
The university has announced an energy-saving plan. It will start at the library, focusing on two aspects: lighting and temperature control. The woman in the conversation disagrees with the idea. Firstly, she thinks the new lights are not bright enough, so students did not use the reading lamps before. However, students will now need to turn them on, which will consume more energy. Secondly, she believes that limiting the air conditioning will make the library uncomfortable on hot days. As a result, students may return to their dormitories to study, but it will be difficult for them to concentrate due to the noisy and busy environment in the dorm rooms. In conclusion, the woman opposes the university's plan because she thinks it will not achieve its energy-saving goals and may negatively affect students' study environment.
