Task Overview
Reading Passage
Outside Arts Involvement Should Satisfy Arts Requirement Undergraduate students at the university are required to take at least one arts course in music, art, or theater in order to expose them to the arts. However, I take violin lessons outside the university, and I don't think I should be required to take arts courses since l already have music experience. I think students who are involved in the arts outside the university should not be required to take arts courses because they are already artistically involved, cshow that they have experience with the arts, students could supply samples of their artistic work for evaluation biuniversity faculty.Sincerely, Matt Williams

5.语言使用Original: The reason is that students studying outside the university should not be required to take an art course, because they already have some art experience and they can supply the samples to the professors. But the women disagree with the idea. The first reason is that it's a whole range of different courses in university, so students could benefit from the course. For example, they could get something new and be interested in it and they can explore some other area. And the second reason is that the suggestion doesn't work well in the university, because the professors are always busy teaching students or helping students and preparing some meetings. So they don't have time to do it. Submitting samples to them could take too much time often.

Revised Answer (140 words):
The reason is that students learning outside the university should not be required to take an arts course, because they already have some arts experience and they can supply samples to the professors. However, the woman disagrees with this idea. The first reason is that there's a whole range of different courses in the university, so students could benefit from these courses. For example, they could discover something new and become interested in it, allowing them to explore other areas of art. The second reason is that the suggestion doesn't work well in universities, as professors are always busy teaching students, helping them with their projects, and preparing for meetings. Therefore, they don't have time to evaluate external samples. Submitting samples to them could often take too much time and add to their already busy schedules.
