Social Learning One way people learn is by watching the behavior of others. Sometimes called social learning, this type of learning involves the process of learning to copy---or not copy---the action of another. By observing the results, or consequences, of another’s behavior, people tend to imitate the behavior of another when they see that it leads to a desirable consequence---hoping to repeat it for themselves. Of course, the opposite is also true---people tend to avoid imitating the behavior of another when they see it result in an undesirable consequence.

3.表达
从发音和语速方面来看,这位考生的表现还不错,但是在某些地方存在适当的停顿。为了提高发音和流利度,建议考生多加练习,尤其是在句子之间的连接部分。此外,注意正确发音单词,以避免拼写错误。
4.话题发展
The speaker provided a coherent and well-organized response, with clear connections between ideas and sufficient support or examples from the lecture. However, there is room for improvement in terms of elaborating on the concept of social learning and providing more context from the reading passage. To enhance topic development, the speaker could mention the consequences of the children's behavior and how it relates to social learning, as well as incorporating key terms from the reading passage to strengthen the connection between the two sources.
6.语言使用Original Answer: The professor in the lecture uses the example to illustrate the idea of social learning. For example, there are these two kids, a sister is 6 and the brother is 4, and one day they are all out shopping with their mother, and the girl sees a toy she wants, but the mother disagrees. Then the little girl starts crying and screaming. Finally mom gives in. Maybe the little brother sees these sorts of things happen a lot, so when he wants something from mom, he will probably cry and scream. But if the mom instead disconnects the girl and when they go home, she didn't let the little girl watch her favorite TV program, now the little boy is not gonna cry and scream.
Corrected Answer: The professor in the lecture provides an example to illustrate the concept of social learning. In this example, there are two children: a six-year-old sister and a four-year-old brother. One day, they go shopping with their mother, and the girl sees a toy she wants. However, her mother refuses to buy it for her. The little girl then starts crying and screaming until her mother finally gives in. The little brother observes this behavior frequently, so when he wants something from his mother, he is likely to cry and scream as well. On the other hand, if the mother had disciplined the girl instead and not allowed her to watch her favorite TV program at home, the little boy would probably not resort to crying and screaming in similar situations. (将句子结构进行了调整,使其更自然流畅,同时修正了一些词汇和语法错误。)
Revised Answer (140 words):

23. 3.Delivery
The speaker's delivery is generally clear and fluid, but there are some occasional pauses that could be improved. Additionally, some words are not pronounced accurately, which may lead to confusion for the listener. To improve, the speaker should practice speaking at a consistent pace and work on their pronunciation of certain words.
4.Topic Development The speaker provides a coherent and well-organized response, with clear connections between ideas and sufficient support from the examples given in the lecture. However, there is room for improvement in terms of elaborating on the examples and providing more context to better explain the concept of social learning. To enhance topic development, the speaker should focus on expanding their explanations and making stronger connections between the examples and the concept being discussed.
5.Language UseOriginal: The concept of social learning refers to that people try to copy others' behavior if they say see (corrected for word choice) the consequence is positive, and not to copy the behavior of others if the consequence is not appreciated. The professor gave an example of a boy and a girl in a family. For example, if a girl wants to buy something she wants, but her mom doesn't permit, then the girl cries and screams. After the girl cries, the mom gets the girl's toy. Then his little brother sees this, then the little brother will imitate this behavior. And when he wants something, he just can't cry and scream, then the mom will buy him. This is the concept of social learning.
Revised (140 words): The concept of social learning involves people imitating others' behavior if they observe positive consequences and refraining from copying if the outcome is undesirable. The professor provided an example involving siblings in a family. When a young girl desires a toy but her mother refuses, she cries and screams until her mother relents and purchases it for her. Witnessing this, her younger brother learns to mimic this behavior when he wants something. Conversely, if the mother had disciplined the girl instead of giving in, the boy would likely avoid crying and screaming in similar situations. This demonstrates how individuals learn through observing and replicating or avoiding others' actions based on their outcomes, which is the essence of social learning.
6.Mind Map

- Brother learns not to cry for desired items
- Observing and replicating/avoiding actions
- Based on outcomes

4.话题发展 从话题发展方面来看,回答内容基本上是连贯和有组织的,但在解释社会学习概念时可以更加详细地阐述。例如,在描述小男孩观察到小女孩哭闹后得到玩具的情景时,可以进一步解释这是如何影响他以后的行为。此外,在描述相反情况下的结果时,可以更具体地说明小男孩可能会采取什么策略来达到目的。总之,在练习时要注意提供更多支持或例证来丰富回答内容。
5.语言使用Original: Social learning means that people tend to copy or not to copy the action of another by observing the results of other people's behavior. For example, there are two kids shopping with their mom and the little girl saw a toy and she asked her mom to buy it. Her mom said no and the little girl started to cry and her mom gave in and buy her the toy. The little boy is watching all of this happen and after this, he might learn to cry when his mom refused him to buy him a toy. On the other hand, if the mom disciplined the girl on the first hand and the little boy may not be crying when he was in the same situation.
Corrected: Social learning means Social learning occurs (更自然的表达方式) when people tend to copy or not to copy the actions of others by observing the consequences of other people's behavior. For example, there are two kids shopping with their mom, and the little girl saw sees (保持一致的时态) a toy and she asks her mom to buy it. Her mom says no, and the little girl starts to cry; her mom gave in gives in (保持一致的时态) and buy buys (动词形式错误) her the toy. The little boy is watching all of this happen, and after this, he might learn to cry when his mom refused refuses (保持一致的时态) to buy him a toy. On the other hand, if the mom disciplines the girl on the first hand initially (更自然的表达方式), the little boy may not cry when he is in the same situation.
Revised (140 words): Social learning occurs when people tend to copy or not to copy the actions of others by observing the consequences of other people's behavior. For instance, two kids are shopping with their mom, and the little girl sees a toy and asks her mom to buy it. Her mom refuses, but the girl starts crying; eventually, her mom gives in and buys her the toy. The little boy witnesses this event and learns that crying might lead to getting what he wants. Conversely, if the mom disciplines the girl initially for her tantrum, the boy may learn that such behavior is not rewarded and may choose a different approach when he wants something. This example demonstrates how social learning can influence individuals' actions based on their observations of others' experiences and outcomes.

5.语言使用Original Answer: Well, the professor discusses social learning. You know, that is the process of learning to copy or not copy the actions of others. For example, there are two kids, a sister and her brother. One day, they go shopping with her mother, and the girl wants her mom to buy a toy. So, she cries and screams for the toy, and her mother buys the toy. As a result, the little brother watches this scenery, and he will also cry and scream for the toy. However, if the mother just disciplines the girl and didn't buy the toy, as a result, the boy will not cry and scream for this toy. Therefore, this is an excellent example of social learning.
Corrected Answer: The professor discusses social learning, which is the process of learning to imitate or avoid imitating the actions of others. For instance, there are two siblings - a sister and her brother. One day, they go shopping with their mother, and the girl wants her mom to buy a toy. She cries and screams for it until her mother gives in and buys it. Consequently, the little brother observes this situation and is likely to cry and scream for a toy as well. On the other hand, if the mother disciplines the girl instead of buying her the toy, then the boy would probably not cry and scream in similar circumstances. This serves as an excellent example of social learning. (将“you know”去掉,使语言更正式;将“copy or not copy”改为“imitate or avoid imitating”,使表达更准确;将“scenery”改为“situation”,更符合语境;在连接词前后添加逗号,使句子结构更清晰。)
