Music Coming to Cafeterias  Mary Dixon, Director of the Student Life Committee, announced yesterday that beginning next semester university cafeterias will broadcast classical music during mealtimes. “Music will foster a more relaxed atmosphere.” said Dixon, "Students' lives are hectic, and mealtimes provide important opportunities to take a break and catch up with friends before moving on to the next class or assignment." Added Dixon. "We're also hoping that, if we provide the music, students will unplug their personal music devices—their Walkmans and mp3 players or whatever—and will spend more time talking to each other. When students have their headphones on. they're not connecting with each other."

23. 3.Delivery

The speaker's delivery is generally clear and fluid, with a consistent pace and only occasional pauses. However, there is room for improvement in terms of pronunciation and reducing unnecessary pauses. To enhance the delivery, the speaker should practice speaking more naturally and focus on proper pronunciation of words.

4.Topic Development The response is coherent and well-organized, with clear connections between ideas and sufficient support or examples. However, the speaker could improve the topic development by providing more specific details from the listening passage to support their points. Additionally, it would be helpful to emphasize the man's opinion more clearly in the response. To improve topic development, the speaker should practice summarizing key points from both the reading and listening passages and connecting them more effectively in their response.

However, the man disagrees with this idea, because the first reason is that a lot of students don't want to relax during lunch time. However, the man disagrees with this idea, stating that many students prefer not to relax during lunchtime. (Improved sentence structure and vocabulary)

Thus, during the meal time, they want to study while eating, especially before important exams or if students have some important assignments to deal with. Consequently, they choose to study while eating, particularly before crucial exams or when they have significant assignments to complete. (Enhanced vocabulary and sentence structure)

And the second point is that a lot of students don't like classical music. The second point is that many students do not enjoy classical music. (Improved vocabulary and grammar)

So it's more likely that they will bring the mp3 players with them and play their own music to block out the classical stuff instead of actually unplugging their earphones and talking with each other. As a result, they are more likely to bring their MP3 players and play their own music to block out the classical tunes, rather than unplugging their earphones and engaging in conversation with others. (Enhanced vocabulary, grammar, and sentence structure)
