Aperçu de la Tâche

Texte de Lecture

Better Camera for the Newspaper We need to keep up with the latest technology to ensure the excellence of our campus newspaper. The newspaper doesn't currently have a professional-quality camera, so I would like to propose that we purchase a more sophisticated, high-tech camera for our photographers to use. The photos we currently print in the newspaper don’t look nice because they are grainy and low-quality, and buying a high-quality camera would allow us to fix the problem. We have some additional funds left in our newspaper budget, and using the money to purchase a new camera like this would be the best way to improve the quality of our reporting. Sincerely, Rebecca Morrison

Original Answer: According to the announcement to the student's newspaper, the student won a new career to kill requirements by offering valuable information and providing students with convenience to their lives. The man in the conversation, however, totally disagreed with his statement, because both he and some other students will learn nothing new in the activity, because some of them have already have the related skills during their working time and their jobs. Also, it is a terrible timing for the activity to take place in the summer vacation, because it might interrupt most of the student's summer schedule. Take the man as an example, his activity will start as soon as the summer vacation starts, and once the summer vacation ends, the activity comes to an end as well. Therefore, he will have to reproduce everything again.

Corrected Answer: In the reading passage, Rebecca proposes purchasing a high-quality camera for the campus newspaper to improve photo quality. However, in the listening passage, the man disagrees with this proposal because he believes that the problem lies in the print shop's printer rather than the camera. He suggests that it would be better to buy more cheaper cameras instead of one expensive one since there are not enough cameras for all events on campus. (原文没有准确总结阅读材料和听力材料的内容,改正后的答案更符合题目要求。)

Revised Answer (140 words):

In the reading passage, Rebecca proposes purchasing a high-quality camera for improving photo quality in their campus newspaper. She believes that having a professional camera would help fix grainy and low-quality images currently printed in their newspaper. However, in the listening passage, the man disagrees with this proposal. He explains that the real issue is not with the camera but with the print shop's printer, which only prints in black and white and produces blurry images. Therefore, buying an expensive camera would not make a significant difference in the photo quality. Instead, he suggests that it would be more beneficial to purchase several cheaper cameras, as there are not enough cameras to cover all events happening on campus. This way, they can send a photographer with a camera to each event and not miss out on capturing important moments.
