Doctor Smith
As urban areas grapple with increasing traffic congestion, the concept of congestion pricing has gained traction as a potential solution to alleviate gridlock and reduce environmental impact. This system involves charging drivers additional fees during peak hours, aiming to incentivize alternative transportation methods and mitigate traffic congestion. However, a contentious question arises: Is it good to impose congestion pricing on drivers during busy times?
Amy
I think it's a good idea to make drivers pay more during busy times. It can help reduce traffic and make people use other ways to get around, which is better for the environment.
Rory
I don't like the idea of making drivers pay extra during busy times. Some people might not have other ways to travel, and it could be too expensive for them. We should find a different solution that's fair for everyone.

While I can see Amy’s idea that it’s a nice method to charge more congestion fee during busy times from drivers, I concur with Rory’s viewpoint that due to higher cost and few transportation ways, it pushed us to come up with other better solution instead of extra fees. As Rory mentioned, nowadays residents have few way to travel, especially in peak times when majority of the people need to go for work; however, it is unfair for peak time drivers to pay more fees than residents with alternative methods to traval for reason that they urgently and inevitably are pushed to go for work, otherwise they can choose other time to drive. Apart from what Rory has raised, The main reason why traffic congestion occurs in unban city is the unsatisfying design of urban roads and buslines due to the insufficient consideration of burst numbers of population and cars; while on the contrary, the more efficient and proper way is to build more roads. Consequently, I firmly disagree with the solution to charge drives additional fees during the peak hours.

While I understand Amy's perspective on implementing congestion pricing during peak hours to reduce traffic and promote alternative transportation methods, I agree with Rory that this approach may not be equitable for all drivers. As Rory pointed out, some individuals have limited transportation options, particularly during busy times when the majority of people need to commute to work. It seems unjust to impose higher fees on these drivers simply because they have no choice but to travel during peak hours.
Furthermore, the root cause of traffic congestion in urban areas often lies in inadequate infrastructure planning, such as poorly designed road networks and insufficient public transportation options. Instead of penalizing drivers through congestion pricing, a more effective solution would involve investing in improved infrastructure and expanding public transit systems. This approach would not only alleviate traffic congestion but also create a more equitable and sustainable urban environment for all residents. Therefore, I firmly disagree with the notion of charging drivers additional fees during peak hours as the primary solution to address traffic congestion. (177 words)

In response to the debate on government-funded space exploration, I firmly believe that such investment is not only justified but also essential for our future. A key aspect to consider is the potential for groundbreaking scientific discoveries and their subsequent impact on our daily lives. For instance, recent research has demonstrated that "space tomatoes," a variant of potatoes cultivated in space, exhibit remarkable benefits when compared to their Earth-grown counterparts. These tomatoes have been found to yield twice the output and possess higher nutritional content, such as increased carotene levels. This development could significantly boost agricultural productivity and contribute positively to human health. In essence, the advancements achieved through space exploration have tangible implications for our everyday lives, making it a worthwhile endeavor for governments to support financially. (131 words)
