Systems Thinking Companies have designed new and improved ways to solve problems within their organizations. Rather than seeking a simple cause and a direct solution to problems, companies are now using an approach called systems thinking. Systems thinking involves solving problems long-term by considering the "big picture," that is, how the interaction of many different parts of a large system may contribute to a problem. Companies use systems thinking because, even though it may produce complex solutions that take a long time to implement, it is an effective way to solve problems and has a greater long-term benefit to the company.

To improve, the speaker should practice organizing their thoughts before speaking and focus on providing a more detailed explanation of how the example demonstrates systems thinking.
5.Language UseFrom this reading, it says system thinking systems thinking(corrected for proper terminology), it says to solve a problem in the long term. And from the reading, the professor gives an example of a company that it says had(corrected for clarity) workers in the company were absent and it has a lot of interviews of a lot of workers and it has missing jobs, not for a simple reason, that they said that they were sick. So the companies that will solve their healthy problems is to build a gym and to order more neutral menus in the cafeteria and then begin to improve the problem.
Revised Answer (140 words):
The reading passage introduces systems thinking as an approach to solving problems long-term by considering the big picture and how different parts of a system interact. In the listening passage, the professor provides an example of a company facing high employee absenteeism. Instead of attributing this issue to a simple cause, such as lack of motivation, a consultant was hired to investigate various aspects of the company. The consultant discovered that employees' health problems were contributing to their absences. These health issues were exacerbated by factors like poor eating habits and lack of exercise opportunities provided by the company. To address this problem, the company built an on-site gym and improved its cafeteria menu with healthier options. Over time, these changes led to improved attendance rates, demonstrating the effectiveness of using systems thinking in problem-solving.
