Task Overview
Reading Passage
Hot Breakfasts Eliminated Beginning next month, Dining Services will no longer serve hot breakfast foods at university dining halls. Instead, students will be offered a wide assortment of cold breakfast items in the morning. These cold breakfast foods, such as breads, fruit, and yogurt, are healthier than many of the hot breakfast items that we will stop serving, so health-conscious students should welcome this change. Students will benefit in another way as well, because limiting the breakfast selection to cold food items will save money and allow us to keep our meal plans affordable.

27. 3.Delivery
The speaker's delivery is generally clear and fluid, with a consistent pace and only occasional pauses. However, there is room for improvement in terms of pronunciation and reducing unnecessary pauses. To enhance delivery, the speaker should practice speaking more naturally and focus on accurate pronunciation of words.
4.Topic Development The response is coherent and well-organized, with clear connections between ideas and sufficient support or examples from the listening passage. However, the speaker could further improve by providing more specific details from the conversation to strengthen their argument. Additionally, ensuring that all points are adequately explained and connected to the main opinion will enhance topic development.
5.Language UseOriginal: The woman in the conversation expresses her disagreement with the university's plan to eliminate hot breakfast options next month. She believes that on cold mornings, students generally need warm food options like omelets and cereal. She also questions whether cold foods are inherently healthier than hot ones, arguing that it should be a decision factor. Furthermore, she contends that this change might not save money as intended. If students cannot find satisfying breakfast options on campus, they may seek alternatives off-campus, which would be more expensive. This additional expense would add up over time and negate any potential savings from eliminating breakfast choices in the campus. In conclusion, the woman strongly opposes the university's plan.
