The topic related to the issue of celebrities has been hotly debated in the class, which is among the discussion wether celebrities have a positive or negative impact on young people. In my view, I agree with Eric's point that they will benefit the growth of the teenagers. In addition of the reason she gives, I will give two other reasons. Firstly, they will provide a model example for the teenagers so that the young people could follow their steps to achieve their dream. Besides, what the celebrities did may give the teenagers who love them an example or a lesson to help them avoid the wrong direction. Secondly, they could attract the young people's attention to something, which may lead them to do something right or beneficial to the society. In the teenager's view, the force from the celebrities will be more useful than their parents sometimes, so that they will learn from them to get the sense of responsibility, and so on. Through the analysis above all, we can apparently draw the conclusion that the role of the celebrities will provide more advantages than disadvantages for teenagers.

- Revised Essay
The impact of celebrities on teenagers has been a widely debated topic, with discussions centered around whether these public figures have a positive or negative influence on young people. In my opinion, celebrities can both positively and negatively affect teenagers' growth and development. This essay will explore the dual nature of celebrities' influence by examining their roles as role models and their potential to set unhealthy examples.
On one hand, celebrities can serve as role models for teenagers by promoting positive values such as hard work, perseverance, and philanthropy. For instance, Emma Watson is an actress who uses her fame to advocate for gender equality and education. Her activism inspires young people to be more socially responsible and engaged in important issues. Similarly, professional athletes like Serena Williams demonstrate the importance of dedication and discipline in achieving success. By following these celebrities' footsteps, teenagers can learn valuable life lessons that contribute to their personal growth.
Moreover, celebrities often have the power to attract young people's attention to significant causes or events. They can use their influence to encourage teenagers to participate in charitable activities or raise awareness about pressing social issues. For example, Taylor Swift frequently donates to charity and encourages her fans to do the same. Such actions inspire young people to be more compassionate and involved in their communities.
On the other hand, some celebrities may set unhealthy examples through their actions or lifestyle choices that could negatively affect young people's self-esteem or decision-making. For instance, Justin Bieber has had a history of reckless behavior that can potentially lead impressionable teenagers astray. Additionally, the unrealistic beauty standards perpetuated by certain celebrities may contribute to body image issues among adolescents.
Furthermore, excessive exposure to celebrity culture may result in an unhealthy obsession with fame and materialism among teenagers. This preoccupation with superficial aspects of life could detract from more meaningful pursuits such as education or personal development.
In conclusion, while celebrities have the potential to positively influence teenagers by serving as role models and promoting social responsibility, they can also negatively impact young people by setting unhealthy examples and fostering a culture of materialism. It is crucial for teenagers to critically evaluate the messages they receive from celebrities and make informed decisions about which aspects of their lives to emulate. Parents, educators, and society as a whole must also play a role in guiding young people towards positive influences and helping them navigate the complex world of celebrity culture. (413 words)
