In your response, you should do the following. - Express and support your opinion. - Make a contribution to the discussion in your own words. An effective response will contain at least 100 words. " Doctor Diaz We've been discussing the importance of hiring and retaining highly skilled employees, but even the best employees may need to periodically update or further develop their work skills. One question facing managers is how much time and money to invest in improving the work skills of their employees. Some managers argue that ongoing employee training is the most important investment a company can make. What are your thoughts on the matter? Andrew I don't think that employee training is the most important investment a company can make. The company should be hiring the most skilled workers it can find in the first place. There are so many other unavoidable things that a company needs to spend money on that have to take precedence over training. Kelly Employees' leaving their jobs is always a risk, but providing ongoing training and skill development is more likely to make employees want to stay rather than go, in my opinion. When employers pay for training, employees are likely to feel more valued by their employer, and this can only improve the employer-employee relationship.

Nowadays, as the development of the economy slows down, there’s great competition among companies, which leads to increasing stress on them. To make more profits and compete with other companies, making products well-known for attracting more consumers is essential. Admittedly, Kelly’s statement that training employees makes them feel more valuable and willing to stay is important. However, people may be overwhelmed with so much pressure because of the heavy work tasks that come with professional training. Therefore, I believe that advertising is a more straightforward and efficient way. Imagine that you are driving along the highway or passing by commercial areas, there are various advertisements of products on the billboards, it's obvious that you are willing to consume. Take my internship as an example. Our company has published Internet using on an airplane. We make no profits without advertising because people are still using free WIFI on planes. Section Title: 6.文章修订
In today's competitive business landscape, companies face immense pressure to excel and generate profits. One crucial aspect of achieving success is attracting and retaining consumers through effective marketing strategies. While Kelly raises a valid point about the importance of employee training in fostering a sense of value and loyalty, it is essential to consider the potential drawbacks of such an approach. Employees may become overwhelmed by the additional workload and stress associated with professional development. Consequently, I argue that advertising is a more direct and efficient method for promoting a company's products or services.
Visualize driving along a highway or strolling through commercial districts; billboards displaying various advertisements are bound to capture your attention, influencing your purchasing decisions. For instance, during my internship at a company offering in-flight internet services, we initially struggled to generate revenue as passengers opted for free Wi-Fi on planes. However, once we began advertising our fast and cost-effective solutions in major airline terminals, we experienced a significant increase in sales.
In conclusion, while employee training plays an essential role in fostering job satisfaction and retention, it should not be considered the most critical investment for a company. Prioritizing advertising as a primary strategy enables businesses to directly reach their target audience and boost revenue more effectively than solely focusing on employee development. (220 words)
