5.语言使用Original: According to the doctor, In the reading passage, (原文中并未提到医生,应改为阅读材料) the student's advice is that students who take outside art courses should not be re-required to take art courses in college. For that, they have the experience and also they can supply some samples of the artistic work to their professors to show that they have the experience. In listening, the woman doesn't support Chen for two reasons to begin with. She mentions that there are a whole range of art courses for students to take. So if students just take music courses outside of college, they can also take photography or painting courses in college. In this way, they can explore other areas, some new things. The second is that professors are too busy to check out each student's samples of artistic work. So it may take too much professors' time.
Revised (140 words): In the reading passage, the student proposes that those who participate in outside art courses should not be required to take additional art courses in college since they already have experience and can provide samples of their artistic work as proof. However, in the listening passage, the woman disagrees with this proposal for two main reasons. Firstly, she highlights that there is a wide variety of art courses available for students to explore different areas beyond their current interests, such as photography or painting. Secondly, she argues that professors are already overwhelmed with their responsibilities and evaluating each student's artistic samples would consume too much of their time. Therefore, she believes that requiring all students to take an arts course within the university is still necessary.
