Task Overview
Reading Passage
Display Student Artwork in the Library Many art students at this university produce beautiful paintings, sculptures, and photographs. I think the university should exhibit their artwork in the library. Since so many students go to the library to study and look for books, a lot of people would automatically view the art if it were displayed there, which would be a great way for art students to have their work more widely seen. Also, it would make the library look a lot better, so the surroundings would be more pleasant and interesting for students who study there. Sincerely, Jeff Myers

Revised (140 words): A student proposed to display artwork in the library for several benefits. Firstly, the work of art students can be widely publicized, allowing their creations to be seen by a larger audience. Additionally, displaying artwork would make the library a more pleasant environment for all students. In the conversation, both students agreed with the proposal for several reasons. One reason is that non-art major students would not be bothered by the artwork, and they might even come to the library more often to study with friends. Another reason is that since the library is a brand new building with empty walls, adding student artwork would provide much-needed color and visual interest, making it more inviting for all students, including art majors.
