We've been discussing ways that parents can helpprepare their teenage children for adulthood.Oneline of thinking is that parents should encouragetheir teenagers to take part-time jops to help themearn to be responsible, even if it is not an economic necessity for the teenagers to work. What are your thoughts on the issue? Should parents urge teenage children to get a job? Why or why not?
Student A
Teenagers should work part-time. When I was 16,I washeddishes at a restaurant, and I'm glad I did. I learned a lot abouttime management. I had to use my free time wisely to makesure I could complete homework despite spending timeworking at a job. This is a valuable life skill.
Student B
I would have to disagree. A teenager is still just a kid, and inmy opinion, a kid needs to focus on going to school andlearning. A job would be an unnecessary distraction. If it's allabout learning responsibility, i think there are a lot of otherways to do that without the commitment required by a iob

However, I still believe that Andrew's assertion is more valid. Parents shoudn't auge theteenage children to get a job this is because free time of teenage is so crucial which should be used in orther priority parts such as building up deep connection with others. Building up healthy social relatiionship is defenitely the prioritizing thing that people especially young people should learn. If he use the extral time to take part-time job, it will be so hard for him to spare time to communicate with his family members, to hang out with his friends or emit opinions with his educators. In the end, because of lacking of chance to create social relationships, it can be harmful for his mental health.

Title: 6 文章修订
While it is true that part-time work can teach teenagers valuable lessons in time and money management, I contend that Andrew's perspective holds more merit. Encouraging teenagers to obtain part-time jobs may not be the best course of action, as their limited free time should be allocated to other essential aspects of their development, such as fostering meaningful connections with others. Establishing healthy social relationships should be a priority for young individuals. Consider a teenager with an already demanding academic schedule, leaving them with minimal leisure time. If they were to take on a part-time job, it would become increasingly difficult for them to engage in meaningful interactions with family members, friends, or educators. Ultimately, the lack of opportunities to cultivate social connections could prove detrimental to their mental well-being. (133 words)
