As I mentioned in class, we would encounter ideas that are radically different from our own, they may come from our family members or our friends or people around us. When someone challenges our viewpoints, some would get aggressive and try hard to defend their own ideas, while others are willing to embrace new and novel ideas and incorporate them into their own existing knowledge and understanding of the world if their own ideas are wrong. If you were in a similar situation where someone downplay your ideas, what would be your attitude—hold on firm to your own ideas or be willing to change your mind? Why? • LingoLeap
