University Should Allow Students to Audit Classes Many universities allow students to audit classes. That is, students may attend lectures and discussions for a particular class without completing the assignments, receiving a grade, or earning credit for the class. I think our university should also allow this. Auditing classes would be good for interested students, since they would be able to learn more and experience a variety of different classes that they would not otherwise be able to take. Furthermore, it shouldn’t create any difficulties or additional obligations for professors, because these students wouldn’t take tests or write papers that need to be graded. Sincerely, Samuel Stuart

23. 3.Delivery
The speaker's delivery is generally clear and fluid, but there are occasional pauses that could be reduced. Additionally, some words are mispronounced, such as "baseball" instead of "basic." To improve delivery, practice speaking more consistently and work on correct pronunciation.
4.Topic Development The response is coherent and well-organized, but it could benefit from more specific examples or details to support the woman's opinion. To improve topic development, try to include more information from the listening passage and elaborate on the reasons provided by the woman.
5.Language UseA student proposed that the university should allow students to audience audit classes. The first reason is that it is good for interested students and it would not create any difficulties or additional obligations for professors. However, the woman disagrees with the idea. The first reason is that the quality of discussion will be lower because those unprepared students will ask some baseball basic questions to slow down the discussion, especially some questions and knowledge covered in the book reading assignments. And the second reason is that it indeed will provide extra work for professors, like learning extra names, and the professors also need to answer questions after classes.
("audience" should be "audit" as it is the correct term for attending classes without receiving credit; "baseball" should be "basic" as it refers to simple or elementary questions; "book" should be "reading assignments" for better clarity and accuracy.)
Revised Answer (140 words):
The student proposed that the university should allow students to audit classes, arguing that it would benefit interested students without creating additional obligations for professors. However, the woman disagrees with this proposal. She believes that allowing students to audit classes would lower the quality of class discussions because unprepared students would ask basic questions, slowing down the discussion and covering topics already addressed in reading assignments. Additionally, she contends that auditing would indeed create extra work for professors, such as learning extra names and answering questions after class. In conclusion, while auditing classes may seem beneficial at first glance, the woman raises valid concerns about its potential impact on class discussions and professors' workload.
