Let's talk about ways of finding a job. some people prefer to search for advertisements from company through different medias such as newspaper. Other may ask friends for information on a job opening. Which of these ways will you choose? please use the discussion board to share you thoughts
alice
I think the best way to find a job is by recommendation from friends. First of all, because our friends know our abilities and presences, the jobs they recommend would be highly suitable for us.Secondly, with the help of friends ,we are likely to get the chance of priority interviews and have a higher probability of being hired.
ben
I don't agree with alice. the number of the job friends can recommend is limited. in contrast ,it is easier to find a job by searching job advertisements.Companies with recruitment needs will post information on the corresponding website. you can screen out many suitable positions at once, and you can communicate with the company's human resources in real time, which is convenient.

From my perspective, searching on social media like the Internet seems to be a highly efficient and effective way to find a job. Ben makes a reasonable point is that it is convenient for employees to communicate with the human resources about the exact information about the position. It is noteworthy that through the internet, it broadens the limited about the traditional hiring process. The candidate can participate the internship online to reduce the price of travelling far from another city. And it is also advantageous for the individual to locate himself position on the market by reviewing all the similar positions in nearby companies and other companies. Recommendations from friends, as Alice said, sound unrealistic due to the limited job information these friends have access to.

In my opinion, utilizing online platforms and social media for job searching proves to be highly efficient and effective. Ben's argument that it is convenient for job seekers to communicate directly with human resources personnel and obtain accurate information about positions is valid. Notably, the internet significantly expands the scope of the traditional hiring process. Candidates can participate in online internships, reducing travel expenses for those located in distant cities. Additionally, individuals can better understand their market position by reviewing similar roles in nearby companies and beyond. While Alice's suggestion of relying on friends' recommendations may seem appealing, it is ultimately unrealistic due to the limited job information friends can provide. (116 words)
