When it comes to the issue of subsidizing, government always have to carefully consider the distribution of the funds because of the finite resource. In my own perspective, I totally denounce that government should subsidize art. Admittedly, art plays a crucial role in improving citizens life quality and bring happiness and comfort to them. Nevertheless, there are various more significant parts of the society that require subsidization. For instance, the medical department, the scientific research, and the infrastructure construction which is directly related to people’s survival and society’s development should be all prioritize before the art. With these basic needs, governments have already been facing heavy financial pressure, barely supporting the whole society running. Correspondingly, art shouldn’t be involved in distributing the government fund. Determined by high salary that artists gain, artists should earn their own money instead of counting on the governments’ subsidization. Overall, the government should subsidize other more vital part of the society than arts.

In the realm of government subsidies, careful consideration must be given to the allocation of limited resources. While I acknowledge the importance of art in enhancing citizens' quality of life and providing happiness and comfort, I firmly believe that there are other, more critical sectors of society that warrant subsidization. For example, medical care, scientific research, and infrastructure development are all directly linked to people's survival and societal progress; these areas should take precedence over art. Governments already face significant financial strain in meeting these basic needs and ensuring the smooth functioning of society. Consequently, it is not prudent to allocate government funds to support art. Given the substantial income that many artists earn, they should rely on their own financial resources rather than depend on government subsidies. In essence, the government's focus should be on subsidizing more crucial aspects of society rather than arts. (150 words)
