Dr. Achebe
As you approach graduation, you may be considering your next steps for further education. Some opt to enroll full-time to complete an advanced degree as quickly as possible. Others choose to work while slowly progressing towards a degree. Given these options, I'm curious to know your thoughts. After finishing your undergraduate studies, do you prefer pursuing an advanced degree full-time or continuing work while studying part-time?
Claire
I think it's better to go to college full-time instead of trying to balance part-time classes and a full-time job. For me, I know I wouldn't be able to focus on my studies if I was exhausted from work all the time. Full-time college allows me to put all my energy into my classes and get the most out of my education. Trying to do both college and work full-time seems way too stressful for me to handle. I'd rather get my degree done faster by being a full-time student.
Paul
I think going to college part-time while working is better because I can use what I learn in class at my job right away. The classes feel more relevant when I'm able to apply the material to real work situations. Instead of just memorizing concepts, I get to see how they work in practice. And getting work experience while I study looks good on my resume. I think balancing the two helps me get more out of my classes and prepares me for my career at the same time. I'd rather take classes part-time, and work than just study full-time.

Paul presents a compelling point regarding the advantages that could gained in the workplace. Admittedly, getting into workplace can acquire some practical skills. However, considering the efficiency that devote all of yourself into study could make, I am inclined to prioritize taking full-time studying in the graduate school. Firstly, because of the high pressure of study, I think it is hard for students to make a balance between job and study. For instance, as a student in Biology department, I am supposed to read a lot of papers and conducting experiments, which is hard for me to spare time for full-time job. Moreover, there is no deny that if you devoted more on study, the better grade and more specialized knowledges you will get. A full devotion to study in graduate school will lay a solid foundation for your future development. Therefore, I believed that pursuing a degree full-time will be a worthwhile choice.

Revised Essay:
While Paul raises a valid argument about the immediate benefits of applying classroom knowledge to the workplace, I believe that pursuing a full-time advanced degree is more advantageous in the long run. Balancing work and studies can be challenging, particularly when faced with demanding academic requirements. For example, as a biology student, I am expected to read numerous research papers and conduct experiments, leaving little time for a full-time job.
Furthermore, dedicating oneself entirely to academic pursuits allows for deeper understanding and mastery of one's chosen field. This strong foundation can significantly contribute to future career success and personal growth. Consequently, I maintain that investing in full-time graduate studies is a wise decision for those seeking to maximize their educational experience and long-term potential. (130 words)
