I think the most important subject for secondary students is math, and I think the absolute minimum level for graduation should be algebra. Math is critical for adult life, from personal finance to basic home repair. I feel like modern technology has degraded people's basic math skills and made them too dependent on apps and machines to accomplish tasks.
