This week, we'll be discussing how technological advances are transforming the job market, making some jobs unnecessary. Let's focus on government actions. Suppose the government had to choose between two ways in which to support people whose jobs are no longer needed. The government could either give them enough money to live on until they find new jobs or offer them free job training without giving them money directly. Which of these two solutions do you think is better? Why?
Andrew
I believe that the government should prioritize providing free job training opportunities. Modern training programs are usually costly, which means that many people will not be able to afford them without the government’s funding. By participating in training programs, people will develop new, in-demand skills and become more competitive in the job market.
Kelly
Although I agree that having access to free training programs sounds promising, I think the government's first step should be to give people enough money to live on until they find new jobs. This money will go directly into people's pockets and allow them to make their own choices concerning their future.

From my point of view, I tend to support Andrew's opinion that the government should prioritize providing free job training opportunities because this can make people become more competitive in the job market. In addition, apart from Andrew's viewpoint, another reason I want to add is that giving free job training is the only way to be sustainable and can benefit the long-term development of society. In other words, if people who lose their jobs can receive free job training, they can understand what drawbacks of them that probably made them unemployed, and can improve themselves whatever in skills or personalities which are appropriate and necessary to "survive" in the company. After finish the training project, they will be more easily to find a new job and can stay longer in their next company by applying their improved skills. Then, there will form a good and positive atmosphere not only in society but also in the job market. While I appreciate Kelly's viewpoint about directly giving money to people, I respectfully disagree with her opinion because it will cause more and more people intentionally drop off their jobs in order to get the money from governments. It will make whole society into chaos, and also the company will be influenced greatly by losing labor force.

Section Title: 6 Article Revision
In my perspective, I concur with Andrew's stance that the government should prioritize offering free job training opportunities, as this approach can enhance individuals' competitiveness in the job market. Furthermore, beyond Andrew's argument, I would like to emphasize that providing free job training is a sustainable solution that contributes to the long-term development of society. In essence, when displaced workers receive free job training, they can identify their shortcomings that may have led to unemployment and subsequently improve their skills and personal attributes necessary for thriving in a professional environment. Upon completing the training program, these individuals will be better equipped to secure new employment and maintain their positions by applying their enhanced skills. Consequently, this fosters a positive atmosphere within both society and the job market.
Although I acknowledge Kelly's perspective on directly providing financial support to those affected by job loss, I respectfully disagree with her proposition. My primary concern is that such an approach may incentivize an increasing number of people to voluntarily leave their jobs in pursuit of government assistance. This could potentially plunge society into disarray and significantly impact companies by diminishing their workforce. (194 words)
