For new teachers, me as an example, lack of experience might be the most significant drawback I have for teaching English. For a new teacher like me, the above-mentioned challenges would be my fatal drawback if I didn’t address them properly. However, there are several approaches that might be beneficial to help me overcome the difficulties. Solutions like being well-prepared before each class, getting to know my students, or asking experienced teachers for help are useful. To be specific, I can spend time on getting myself familiar with the textbooks and difficult knowledge points before teaching; actively converse with my students in and after class, in an attempt to know their psychology, interests and gain trust from them. In additions, ask experienced teacher if they would allow me to visit their class, or watching related teaching videos that I can found on the Internet is also a good method. In conclusion, although I am not experienced enough, I believe that this drawback would not inhibit me to be a good English teacher as long as I try to find out useful approach for solving the problems and achieve higher progress.
