In my perspective, reducting working hours without decrease of salaries is not a good idea for both workers and society. It is true that it could help workers to have more time to have more time to relax, which is benefical for both of their mental and physical health. However, the disadvantages overweigh the advantages. Fewer working hours would result in fewer benefits that could be obtained by companies, while the constant salaries would lead to heavier financial burdons on companies. If this policy is conducted, it is possible that many small-scalse companies would crash down, as a result, plenty of workers would loss their job. Taking my own experience for example, though my company flourished well, it almost collapsed after we conducted shorter workweek. At the begining, all of us thought that working for only four day a week seems to be fantastic because more rest time means more effecient. But we were proved to be wrong. Assuming that workers would complete ten tasks one week before the change, they could complete only nine tasks after the change. Indeed, they were more efficient, but our profits still shrink becuase their total work decreased by ten percent and their salaries are constant.

Section Title: The Four-Day Workweek Debate
In my opinion, reducing working hours without decreasing salaries is not a viable solution for both employees and society. While it is true that a shorter workweek could provide workers with more time to relax, benefiting their mental and physical health, the disadvantages outweigh the advantages. A decrease in working hours would lead to reduced productivity for companies, while maintaining constant salaries would impose heavier financial burdens on them. Implementing this policy could potentially cause many small-scale businesses to fail, consequently resulting in significant job losses. Drawing from my personal experience, although my company initially thrived, it nearly collapsed after adopting a shorter workweek. Initially, we believed that working only four days per week would be fantastic because more rest time implied increased efficiency. However, our assumptions proved incorrect. For instance, if workers completed ten tasks in one week before the change, they could only accomplish nine tasks afterward. Although they were more efficient individually, our overall profits still shrank due to a ten percent decrease in total work output while salaries remained constant. (180 words)
